Damn Greg that sucks buddy

That car was so unique - 5.0L, Manual, Corvette Blue, Vert, and super low mileage for a 94. Irreplaceable.

And it sucks even more because when you called me to tell me what happened, I was in the craphole known as Newark. So that phone call was even more depressing.

Good luck with fixing it, let me know if you need help with anything. I'll give you a call later.

Seriously man, my eyes got huge and mouth dropped when I saw that. I am so glad you are ok because it looks like it could have turned out very bad for you. Damn...I keep thinking that you were right at the point you wanted to be to get those bullitts and finally getting rid of those damn tails.

Your grandfather gave that car to you correct? That really sucks since it had emotional attachement to it. I have never had anything like that happen to me so I can't say I know how you feel. If you truly love that car, you can rebuild it. You saw what that guy did to the wrecked Cobra he bought. Man you are a hillbilly You can make a Ford out of a ball of mud right?

I say just rip everything out from under the hood and put something mean in there. I know your *** knows how to weld so find your *** another Stang like yours and whack the front end off. Even if it isn't something you are able to do now, save it for later. That is what I would do if it has sentimental value and you hold it close to your heart. Don't send it to some heap and let it rust away with the other cars while people pick it apart like vultures. Build it back and build it better. Again I am sorry for the loss of your girl.

Father bought it for me...

I worked my *** of... I found it on ebay... I decided to buy... he paid for it... I went to get the money I earned to pay him back... He told me it was on him...

Just graduated highschool... just startin college...

So ya... thats a big reason why I don't want to part with it...

It comes down to cost really... As long as there is no major damage to drivetrain, engine or major frame damage... I'm gonna fix this son r bitch...

If I cant fix her... then I'll get something new...

So I'd probably get an sn95 cobra... or a mach1... gonna try n stay away from the gt if I can... I also want another vert...

I just buffed that ****er... got out EVERY LITTLE SCRATCH! I got xompliments on it EVERYWHERE... some from hot rodders... some from hot chicks... some from people who didnt even know what kind of car it was...

But yah... troubles will come, and they will go...

No matter what I'll either have a nicer car or a nicer car...

And god dern I cant believe I didnt die...

I wasnt buckled... I guess the airbag saved me...

And one more thing... My car was AIRBORN! In the process of hittin that pole, uprootin it, and breakin it in half... My car was a good three feet in the air...

I really cant beleive how I am unscratched...

Kiddys... mustangs may not be economical... but they are reliable and SAFE

I'm not gonna lie to you that is seriously bad....your lucky you didnt get hurt.

But....that thing is well beyond screwed I dont even have a motor shot and I dont need to see it. I can see the front of the frame bent into your steering rack and cracked where the pole I dont want to even see the damage beyond that. Your whole front end is trash...I bet your motor is pushed all the way back to the firewall.

But I cant tell without a better pics.

Sorry dude

the motor is pushed back...

OK...

One last time... I hate repeating myself...

I have to take a good look at it... My scenario is different then most...

I have a welder... I have done and can do work like this... and can paint it myself too...

I have to see what needs to be replaced... and decide if

A. Its worth the cost
B. If the frame is beyoung my repair

and the car is worth alot to me... People have offered to buy.... actually 95bstallion asked me how much i'd take for it back in october...

he'll tell yah... I told him I wanted an unreasonable ammount... its worth a fortune to me... so... I'll decide...

I'll tell you now it's beyond "your" repair and any computerized system that good repair shops use.

No matter how good you repair it its not going to be the same as it was

Ok... there are a few things that could have caused the engine to move back...

I have to figure out what bent where...

the front fender frame rails bent inward... that would have pushed the engine back... then I have to see what else bent or broke...

I dont know what broke or bent yet... But i DO KNOW WHAT I CAN OR CANNOT FIX...

so wish me luck and dont say that its a definate total... Cause even I dont know that yet...

I know the feelings but believe me, it is not the route to go. You could buy a SN95 Cobra in excellent shape for what's going to cost to fix that car. Frame straightening isn't cheap man and just think about it, it will never ride like it did. My mom's car was like $500 short of being totalled a couple years ago and they fixed her car. Straightened the frame and all, that thing rides like **** to this day and it has so many squeeks and rattles it drives me insane. Don't forget about those airbags man, they are VERY expensive to be repacked. Just find yourself a new addiction. cough*cobra*cough....

Damn, that is raw. Sorry to see it but glad you are okay. You're not going to do much with bent frame rails. It is most likely cobra time!

Dude, it's hard. I know, I miss my car SO ****ING MUCH that I can't bare it. But there comes a time where you have realize what will be better for you. My car was classified totalled and they gave me $9,000 for it. Just think about that, my had the same, more, or a little less damage than yours does and mine was totalled. No insurance company is going to pay over $9K to have a 94 GT fixed with that much damage and to just take it upon yourself to fix would just be a long and painful struggle that would only put you in the hole big time.

Greg, sorry to hear about your car and glad you're ok. If you want to rebuild it and think you can after you check all the damage, then go for it, just know when to quit. It's your car, do what you want, if nothing else, you'll gain knowledge. Again, sorry for the loss. My '94 was given to me by my dad so I kinda know what it's like to have and want to keep something for the emotional value.

Also, don't feel too bad. I now have no motorcycles. My friends shop flooded and my bikes were all underwater for a day. Total loss and I had taken insurance off 3 weeks ago to save some money while we redid the fairings and put the new kit on. Not to mention, he lost 190 motorcycles and his shop is now closing. Like everyone says, roll with the punches man, **** happens. Good luck.

Holy **** greg. Im so sorry to see that and F THAT PERSON THAT RAN. Karma will catch up. Dude, Im sorry to say, but cut that car loose. There is too much damage for you to even consider fixing and expecting it to run perfectly/not track/be safe etc. Find you something new. I know you love the car, but some things just are better off letting go. Im glad you are ok man, hope they catch the fker that ran you off the road.

EDIT: AND WEAR YOUR DAMN SEATBELT.

Dude, just get a Cobra and turn that one into a dedicated drag car.

About the ****wad that ran you into the pole. You said there was a kid on the other side of the road. See if you can find the kid and ask if he got any info on the SUV. There's no way I'd let something like that slide, it's complete bull****.
