Well...my worst nightmare came true..the perfect cobra...sitting there for 6 long months...was sold this weekend.......blah..I don't know what to do now..maybe I'll keep the GT and mod the crap out of it...still won't compare tho maybe i'll buy a goat..or one of those No Fear Titans (I LOVE those)

WTF are you talking about No Fear Titan...boy...I ought to slap you. Little tip, there are still about 5,000 OTHER sonic blue cobras out there...not the end of the world. Start putting money in a high interest savings account instead of putting it into that GT if a Cobra is what you REALLY want. Just my 2 cents...

You have something fast. It's not like your car is the slowest on the road. Other cobras are gunna be out there and if you wait, you'll prob get a good deal on one down the road.

 

Only the crankshaft, and thats only if you get the 5spd version. If you want to stick with the GT, but Timmys shortblock, and his mongoose, and be done with it. Me personally, Id just get the mongoose and call it good.

Don't just keep throwing stuff at your stock block and expect to be happy with it for long. The stock blocks are too small and too weak. If I were you I'd either get yours stroked to a forged 302 or buy a used 5.4 and get it stroked to 5.8. With the latter you could probably beat stock Cobras (or at least run with them) with nothing but motor.

honestly, if I could do it over again...I would have gotten a 99 camaro for 3-4 grand less then I payed for this slow peice...i've wasted so much money on this car...I could have a sprayed ls1 with a built rear and slicks runnin 11's here in colorado for several grand less than i've spent on my mustang...I wish I knew better at the time

 

Yea I hear you badfish..I didn't know how slow GT's were until I got one..I thought it was fast until I started learning more about other cars and the ls1's and dirivng in my friends rx-7 and my other friends z28...god my car might look really bad *** compared to theres..but I can't even keep up with them...and my car cost like 5-6grand then the rx-7 and 10 grand more then the z28..sigh.

2v never compair? please, with a built short block and you can make just as much as them. for example there is a guy twin turbo 2v makes 789hp on 100octane gas. and there is that saleen that makes 912hp. you just need to beef up the bottom end. i mean i can give more and more examples of really powerfull 2v cars.
