LoL yeah man thats hella old, my father works with the satelite mapping guyz that helped create that program... they used it to help map Weather Stations and Radiason Launch Points for the National Weather Service, it's a really cool program, type in the name and address and i gives you the exact point... but the problem is alota the pictures aren't as high res, some are really close others are blurry...

I saw the google satelite images a long, long time ago, but I never saw/had the program.

Damn the IT guys here at work. I need to make friends with them so they'll take the damn lock off downloading programs on my computer. Id play with it for at LEAST and hour im sure...

Old news. People have already created personal GPS programs using google maps.

I use it to help me with my search for a new house in NC since I can't just hop in the car and go check out a house. You can tell if there's an airport or train depot and stuff like that near a house. Works quite well actually.

i have it but the pics i see are so old. Tucson is growing rapidly and hardly any of the new home sites are on there. cool program though. I can see my old house in Indiana

I used the program keyhole like a year and a half ago before google earth. It's very similar but I found keyhole had better resolutions near my house. Anyways my dad had cut me some trails through an overgrown field to ride my atv in. You could see the trails he cut. Looked like a maze. It was pretty cool.
