Hmm, I havent really paid for anything really expensive. 10th ann Cobra brakes with SS lines were 800. I bought a 750 dollar Autotek MX-1300 amp back in like 98 when I was into car audio.

Besides house and car related stuff, I spend $16k on a boat a few years ago. Getting back to house stuff, I dropped $10k on a fence, $10k on a porch, and spent a crap load on land scaping. Other then that, I think I spent around $4k on my entertainment system.

Tie between my wife's engagment ring and the Audio/Video set up I had in my Tahoe. both right at $3200

Tahoe consisted of 3 ALpine 7" monitors, custom built dash with the A/C panel moved to the center console and an indash DVD player. Clarion mids and highs throughout, and 2 JL 12W6's in custom enclosure in the rear. Damn I miss that thing!

What sucked was, 1 week after having the dash custom built (which alone cost $600) someone broke into my car and shattered the dash and FUBARed my headrests and stole my TV's and DVD player! :censored:

I know its a stretch, but it's also the interweb, quite a crazy place
