Soo...what youre saying is...some of those 5-600 hp ferrari's have no soul? He would be an IDIOT to modify those cars, as the main thing with rare ferraris and cars such as that is that they are stock. Dont hate cause he is able to buy a garage full of 100k + dollar cars, I dont care if you own 1 or 100, that kicks ***. Id have to bring several changes of clothes to visit that guys house. Id want to drive the F40 more than anything though...then the rest

Eh, you know what they say about opinions, but what you are saying is that if you can afford to buy Ferrari Enzos, they arent cool? Why is that? You can afford mustangs, so that obviously means they suck too right?

That guy should hire me to drive his cars around a little bit so they don't just get old sitting there.

I think that collection is sweet! If I had the $ it would take to obtain all of those cars I can bet I would have the time to drive them. Some people buy to collect....some buy to use, as long as they enjoy them, who cares if they get driven or not?

THAT GUY...

1. he has 100 expensive cars... and? who cares?
2. they sit... he cant drive them if he doesnt want anyone to know he's got em
3. they are same as any other of its kind...

so... I'm not saying that the cars them selves suck (even though i dont really like them and would never buy one no matter how much $$$ I had) I'm saying its pointless and stupid...

I know a guy... rich *******... he owns a bently and jaguar and 2 corvettes (he's got 8 or 9 REALLY nice expensive cars...

most of them he put some $$ into... wheels, s/c on a vette, the 6something bently is all restores and chromed out, the only 1 he didnt mod was the brand new bently w/ the v12 turbo...

and he drives them on daily weekly etc baisis...

Whoever owns that garage is just some retarded greedy *** fruitloop with too much money.. If I were him... I would have invested my money much better, no friend of mine would ever have to work (****... eeryone on this site would be retired... lol)

i agree with greg... not every point he's made but for the most part..

the cars are cool, i'd love to own most of them (especially the ford gt) but its not cool when you have all these cars just for a collection...

it's like if you go fishing and you have a great reel that you love and cost you a lot to get it. then some guy comes down to the shore with 100 of the finest and most expensive reels in history and never takes them out of the boxes. just brings them there to show them off and say look what i bought... oh no, you cant touch them... they'll lose value...

fukking gay...

1. I care. and so does any true automotive enthusiast
2. Obviously the garage is open for display so people know he has them. I'm sure its not just some big shed with padlocks. I would assume he some high tech locks and whatnot. Not to mention its in a big field on private property so if he sees someone walkin to it, he can shoot them
3. Do you have any idea how rare some of these cars are? Just because they werent made back in 1969 doesnt mean they arent awesome and rare(and fast as hell). Even if you have the money, I'd like to see you find an f50 and an enzo. or an f40. or a multitude of other cars. You probably could find one for sale...after a period of time. But this guy likely got those cars when they were first offered, and enzo ferrari went to him asking him if he wanted one.

This stuff makes me wanna finish college and go start my own multimillion dollar software company.

you think he maintains those cars? or pays someone else to wash and wax, change the oil, whatever else needs to be done to them...

and i can gurantee he doesnt drive those cars like they're meant to be driven... i bet once in a while he takes them on a little sunday drive, never getting above 4k rpms... he has a fuggin museum sitting there... if he drives them hard they will lose value.

You always see him driving some crazy car of some sort. Is it different for him because he actually drives some of them?

hell no, I hate fishing. It's boring as hell.

And look guys, anyone who has the money to afford all these cars is a multimillionaire(or likely billionaire) and is so busy with his/her job they they dont have time to drive all these. Sure its easy to think in your terms "well I work 8 hours a day and get home at xx o'clocl so I 'd have 5-6 hours to drive them as much as I want. Oh yea and on saturday and sunday I'd drive it all day" This guy likely has a TON of crap to do to maintain his company so I cant see him having ANY time to drive them.

Jay leno on the other hand, works nights, so durign the day if he has time, he can roll one out, so he's able to drive it. Any celebrity will drive their car more than a business owner would. Bill Gates has a huge garage full of vintage Rolls royces..but I doubt he's driven even one. He's so damn busy with his job he wojdlnt have time anyways.
