Danny, you dont even KNOW the real world. you know a sheltered existance. Tell ya what, i love in the real world. I work in a freakin corperate enviornment and trust me, at LEAST 70% of the people here smoke pot. Im talking technicians, managers, directors, VP's high paid professionals. In the military just about everyone i knew would have been smoking pot if there werent any drug tests. I have YET to meet a cop off duty that will even begin to believe pot should be illegal.
Pot is looked down by policies that are made for political corperate reasons, the people writing the policies dont even think there is anything wwrong with it.

Thats the real world dude. Not everyone is a pothead, but there are very few people who see anything wrong with it. There is a difference between smoking weed from time to time and being a pothead, just as there is a difference between hitting the bar and having a few beers and being an achoholic. If you smoke pot or drink in moderation and do it with maturity and responsibility, then there are no real long term effects.


Honestly danny, you need to get out and see the world and live some life rather than hold this attitude that you know everything at the age of 20 like a self righteous zealot.

Hey thanks man! I ended up having 1 last night. and messed up and had 1 earlier today, so im gonna try for 24hrs now. That is my goal. 24 hours without a smoke. If i can hit that, my new goal is to extend it another 24. and go on from there.


I gotta disagree though about illegalization, it should be legal. It is a victimless crime, and more crime happens on booze than pot. Hard drugs on the other hand are a whole different story. Ive done damn near every one of them at one point in time to see what all the hubub was about. yah. especially meth, that should be a felony to even be NEAR it. LOL. That is the WORST THING EVER MADE HANDS DOWN PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! That stuff hits ya, sticks with you and you just dont wanna stop once you start. Worst stuff ever.


to illegalize everything that is bad for you tho.... you can take a guy and give him on bowl to smoke a day each day of his life, he will probably be fine. Or, you could give the same guy McDonalds each day of his life and watch him die of heart failure at the age of 40. LOL.

Yeah. Well, normally people get high and they are good to go off of far less smoke than a cig will create.

I mean, if you smoke a doob the size of a cigerette all by yourself, yer gonna be freakin WAY HIGH. odds are you'll put it down halfway through if yer on yer own.

Smoking cigs tho, hell, if i hit the bar i can kill an entire pack in 3-4 hours.
That is a HELLUVA lot more smoke damage there than a joint.


been 7 hours since my last cig. Not that long yet. But im hanging in there. and the girl im seeing gave me the whole friends thing. lol. still not smoking.

then again.... i was about to give her the whole friends thing too. so..... if anything it is a relief. LOL

Soon the anti smoking ban will pass, and i wont be able to smoke at my local watering hole either. That means the only time i can smoke is in my garage, out in the yard, or at the smoking section at work

 

Dont smoke pot, I smoked pot for more then 5 years straight and I really regret it, I mean it was fun at first but after you quit its just so aweful, I still have a "brain dead" feeling after quitting, At times I feel slow and i never know if it was because of all the pot or what it was. I really regret all the money i threw into pot.

LOL. Yeah, right buddy. I work in a corperate enviornment for a major telecommunications provider. most people here either still do or used to smoke bud. Im not talking some **** $15 an hour idiot chump change job, most people here are on salary of 60+ or making hourly at over 30+. Professionals with decades of experience, not some Out of Highschool or Out of college Job. Ive been to the corperate xmas partys where we rent out entire freakin marriot hotels, and oh yah, Directors and VP, and regionals, yah dude. most people smoke weed. If you dont think that is true, thats cause nobody has admitted it to you.

When i was in the military on all 4 bases i was on, most people i met used to smoke weed and are pretty open about it.

I dont hang out with idiot burner potheads, i hang with people who have thier own sucessful business, insurance reps, reps for glaxo smith and kline, telecommunications like myself, IT, accounting, Most of my buddys make right about what i do if not a bit more. All professional people in well paid positions of 70k+ a year.
