I agree with you on every point there except for two.

I think it would be much more convinient if pot were legal

and I know some people that would nearly beat your *** for saying nicotine is one of the hardest drugs to stop. seriously, tell that to a crack or a heroin addict. when people quit nicotine, they dont puke blood, and shards of their instestines. they dont go through living hell in detox...sure nicotine is hard to quit...but not even close to hardest

How can you say I wont have any fun? I said I wont do things that can potentially hurt my body, i.e. kill me quicker. Things like drinking(excessively) smoking of any kind, and having sex with girls I dont know(always an std risk, i dont care who you are). those are really just the main 3. I still party, bungie jump, sky dive, play paintball, drive fast, etc etc. I have fun, and I will til I'm not able to walk. I just dont think of hiding out with buddies and inhaling drugs to get high as really..."fun". Jump out of a plane at 10,000 ft+ THAT is a helluva thrill that I dont think weed can ever give.

I'm saying because i have a friend that was in rehab for meth. Yeah his life is f**ked up from it and he's been clean for almost 9 months. He said he'll never put another toxin in his body but yet he still smokes. He says the first few days of detox was hell but he got over it and never wants to go back...but yet he can't break his pack a day habit. That's my backup for what i said, although it may not be true, i can honestly say i've seen a personal friend quit one of the hardest most disgusting drugs out there (meth) and can't flick a butt before he's lighting up another.....

I think the nature of it has to do with not quitting too. Because compared to meth, crack, etc...cigarettes are virtually harmless...it's an excuse to keep doing it. If cigarettes were exactly the same in every way, except if you smoked a pack a day, and in a year you would be dead, I think there would be alot less people smoking em..Also, he might have replaced meth with cigs...

i used to smoke cigs and i stopped overnight. its all in your head. i guess it depends on what kind of person you are. if you are real dependant person i guess you may have a tougher time quitting.
