What bumper?
after seeing the pics of the mach danny posted, I'm doubting my decision to
the 01 cobra bumper...but I don't think I wanna keep the 03...what do you guys think will look best on my car?

with all the pictures of the roush bumper being posted, im really starting to get drawn to that. but since you have the cobra rear, i would stick to somekind of cobra front. the chop you did was awesome looking. but im with you on that mach that was just posted. the bumper looked horrible on it. but that yellow mach you posted, it looked good on it. and the 03-04 you have now looks sweet. so i say somekind of cobra bumper.

I say keep the 03 bumper, it looks awesome IMO. I don't like how the 01 Cobra bumper has that odd looking slant like the GTs.
But I think the 03 bumper would look better with the 03 sideskirts. That way, it flows with the rest of the car more better. Look at an 03 Cobra from the side and you'll see what I mean.

I'm not getting the HPA bumper, but if you want to spend nearly a grand for a fiberglass bumper and paint, be my guest

Are you seriously getting nitrous for sure? I've told myself I'm going to get cams or a blower or something like that all the time, but it usually only lasts for about 2 weeks and then I start being realistic again. Remember when you went back and forth about getting a blower over the summer, and now look where you are.
Anyway, finally some people to back me up that the 01 Cobra bumper is kind of deceiving. I think you should get another 03 bumper, then if you end up not getting nitrous also getting something other than your stock GT hood.

I vote for the Roush! Why? Because it is the only non-stock Mustang bumper that I have ever seen that looks like it should have come that way from the factory. As you know, I have the Roush and people think I have some sort of special Mustang all the time. I am not talking about forum people, but rather peopl of the street.
"hey....what kind of Mustang is that?" I get that almost every day.
Also, pass on the nitrous. Just get a blower. I know, I know...I am a turn coat, but why dick around? If all you can afford is a simple Vortech w/o a cooler, then get that. Set you boost at 6 lbs to be safe. Then, add a cooler when you have the money, then blower cams, then ported heads. Before you know it, you will making 425 rwhp and only running like 9 lbs of boost because your setup will be so dam efficient.
I am learned a lot about s/c's this past week from some very intelligent people.

yeah I was really wondering how roush would look..especially with the cobra rear, I know 40thanniversaryGT has that combo, but ive never seen a side shot..
I'm not getting a blower, i want to fix up my car, and mix show and go...because if I just wanted speed, I wouldnt keep my mustang, I'd get an ls1

If you think you can out drive me though, damn you are sadly mistaken!!!Been driving for over 25 years and no accident's!!!!!!
Could probally beat you every time in the 1/4 just from exp!!!
People with Vett's drive with almost the whole car fiberglass and have no problem's.You just have to be carefull. And yes if I ever deside to get a bumper it will be that Fiberglass one and it will last for years
