Is this true?
My friend also has a Mustang GT and he says if you have the battery to your mustang on for too long(like listening to music without the engine running) and your not able to start the engine, but the battery still works for the lights on your car and radio etc.... If you turn the car completely off and wait for an hour or so. The battery charges itself back and you can start your engine again. Is this true or would you have to get a jump start?

You would need a jump.

someone might have become confused in there travels. The only ways your battery will recharge is
1- By charging it.
2- Driving the car long enough for the battery to be recharged.
3- Pushing your car with a train till you hit 85mph.

Your battery only recharges (typically) because of your alternator. The alternator charges the battery, and the engine running powers the alternator. Thats why its not advised to stay on your car with just the radio/lights on for multiple hours bc it kills the battery without charging it back up. Whereas if you sit in idle, your alternator atleast charges the battery while it's being used.
