yea..i thought the gixxer was compty until i sat on the rr...and dayum..they sound like F1 cars when u (the rider) actually are standing next to them....i looked at an 06 gixxer and an 05 rr...i think i may get the rr w/ the yoshimura slip on (cabonfiber = $$$!!)

i dont know wat payments u mean..but for a new 2006 600 Gixxer (GSXR600) its $99 a month (8,799.00 MRSP)..and insurance for a 17 year old and a 34 Year old driving a 2001 Harley is about $90 a month each...all on a suzuki...but hondas gonna be a bit more expensive for hondas a more expensive to fix...try ebay....

i found an 05 CBR600RR for 7299.00 w/ 6300 miles (gonna try to pull the not stock and 2x more miles than recomened AND kbb value is $6900 trick) that im looking at tommorow w/ my uncle (the 34 year old as stated above)

ifi were to buy a 600 it would be the new r6 ....

but i dont think i can take a cut in power that large

see i just sold the zx-10r and before that it was a 02 black hayabusa so goin back down to a 600 would be hard but the new ones are getting so advanced since he 600 class in supersport is the main event now a days .(superbike 1000s are not racing at daytona 200) that means everyones concentraing on the 600s now and therfore making huge leaps and bounds in there technology

your insurance will be lower if you buy a ducatti. They don't carry "R" in their model names anywhere...so they are lower on insurance.

Any 600 that can spank a 750 on the track is a good bike in my book.
R6 is the ONLY 600 I would buy, next bike for me (if I ever get another one) is an R1.
BUT, since an R6 is not an option, I would go with the Honda, especially if it is your first.

Son in law just had a accident on his bike Tuesday.A guy pulled out in front of him and he jumped off right before it slammed into the van.Dr's said he would have been killed if he had'nt jumped.

Broke 3 vert's in his back and messed his neck up.Also has some really nasty road rash.He will be off work for at least 3 month's maybe 6.All from jumping off a bike doing 45 mph.

My buddy was at a bike shop last weekend getting a new helmet. There was a 17 year old guy with his Dad buying his son a new bike.

After they got the paper work done the 17 year old got on the bike and rode through the lot and turned to go out on the highway. My buddy said he gunned it and never saw the 4x4 truck that hit him at 60 mph.Hit him so hard his helmet flew off. They life flighted him out and he died on the way to the hospital.
