You're wasting your money if you go up to 3 gigs. Your PC will actaully slow down. 2 gig is the limit that ANYONE needs.

Work on getting a 64 bit processor and OC that ****, thats where your power is gonna be at.

Me, im content with my laptop.

I dont know, I really probably should have 2gb, but I built this like, well a long time ago...

I originally had a 2.8ghz northwood cpu (which I miss) and downgraded to 3.0 prescott about 2 years ago. Had 1gb of ram since day 1 over 3 years ago, a hella lot back then. upgraded from nvidia 5600 to ati 9800pro (awesome!), and upgraded motherboard. Other than that, this is what I paid over 2 grand for 3+ years ago

I built my comp almost 3 years ago, at the time it was pretty damn near top of the line in everything, sept i had to settle for the 9700 ALl in wonder so i could watch my TV and hook up **** on it, while still havin a kick *** 128 vid card.. i did alota gaming... it's had a gig of ram every since it first turned on, now i think it's time to stick in another gig... but it's w/e i don't game nemore, no time with school and everything goin on, kinda a good thing, used to spend all my time battling in online clan battles for BF1942, and BF Vietnam... dabled in MOHAA a bit and even some CS... but Battlefield Desert Warfare was my favorite ...
