Default The FIXX

I just saw the FIXX in concert tonight. I was close enough to the band to reach out and grab them. I have been listening to these guys for 25 years, so it was cool to see them play. They were great...even my wife had a good time.

OMG, you guys are kids....I forget.

The FIXX was a pretty big 80's band, but they never really went away. In fact, they have a new release which is played often on Sat Radio.

Some of their songs include:

Saved by Zero

One Things Leads to Another

Sign of Fire

They are not techno really, but 80's rock with a tad of tech thrown in. Cy Curnin (sp?) is the lead and the band is still 100% intact.

We're not ALL kids... Not exactly my band of choice, but I do know who you're talking about. I wasn't aware they were still together...

They were pretty big back in the day....not quite as big as Queen or even INX, but I could name 100 bands that they were biggen than.

Old school, baby, OLD SCHOOL!!!! Let's see...

For R&B: The Commodores, Earth Wind and Fire, Marvin Gaye, The Ojays, Luther Vandross, Troop, New Edition, Guy, Jodeci, Kool and the Gang, Kieth Sweat, Teddy Pendergrass, Barry White, Stevie Wonder...list goes on...

For the "Days of the 80's" that just wont die: Thompson Twins, Thomas Dolby, The Cure, Men at Work, Madness, Art of Noise, Pet Shop Boys, Soft Cell, Men Without Hats, Moody Blues, Falco, INXS, Dire Straits, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Depeche Mode, Billy Idol, Metallica, Warrant...once again, the list goes on...

LOL, I can see the young kids sittin' there scratchin' their heads and all the "Old Guys" running to their closet to break out the old 33's and 45's and wishing they had a good needle for that old Technics SL-1200Mk2.

(If ya don't know what a 33, 45 or a SL1200 is, you just don't know what your missing!!!)
