Default Cobra's in Georgia on Sunday?

Ok please somebody enlighten me... I was driving back form Atlanta on Sunday to Clemson and saw some of the nicest mustangs I have ever seen on my way home. I stopped at the Tanger outlet mall and saw 6 different Cobra's from getting off the highway to back on. Was there a meet at one of the speedway's out there or some mustang show? One Cobra was stunning. Dark, metallic flake blue with the hood that has what i like to call reverse nostrils....oooooogh it was nice.

Cheers lads

probably just a local mustang meet or cruise, the "reverse nostrils" you're talking about sounds like the stock cobra hood on the 03-04 "terminator" cobra.

LOL define irony, just finish swapping to a solid rear, only to blow the clutch while racing. That sucks man, hope it gets back together soon.

Ran 12.1 at 118 with no burnout and cold DR's.Also had no clutch. They said it it smoked all the way down the track. Second run i had no clutch at all. Everyone said it looked like i blew the motor.I was in 4th before half track,no clutch at all.Still ran 12.5. When i pulled off the track it would barely move. We let it cool down for and hour and got it going again but i will need a new clutch.

Yikes - that would have been a blast to be at. How do you find out about events like that. if anyone knows I'd really appreciate it. I have to move back to Scotland in a couple months but would love to see some "proper" fast mustangs before then. Mr Whipple, I used to run a 578hp Audi RS4 demo car at work back home and severely miss the high horsepower club - I'm jealous of your car!

No **** Mr. Whipple! I was there all day Sunday, I think I remember seeing you race, I probably got a pic of your car. I'm still waiting for my dad to send all the pics to me and I'll post them up as soon as I get them!

What did you think about that Maurader running a 11.5!!!!!
