ive got a 96 gt 5speed stang with a handful of aftermarket parts (some appearance/performance) but i just found a 95 trans am 6 speed 5.7liter..leather t-tops....97,000 miles. (he backed into somthing an f'ed up the rear bumper but nt to bad) and he just had a new clutch and TRANSMISSION put in like 3 months ago.

now if i sold my gt and bought that T/A i would make mad profit i mean the guy thats selllin it wants almost nothing for it. so basically al themoney left from the sale of my car would go into the body work and a new paint job..plus i would be able to still be up a couple grand for some upgrades... the guy was foreighn and said that "the car just to fast for me an to dangerous" he was all arabic, quite funny actually

also i beleive thats an lt1...

i would have to do it... even if ya fix it, then sell it again for another better stang...

Lt1's are problematic.....you have to fix it and then get parts so it wont break in the future but ends up breaking anyways. The LT1 is nothing special......

And all you LS nutswingers out there I just dont give a f*** i'll take a Mustang anyday

How much is he selling it for by the way?

Stay away from those fbodys from GM. There is a reason why you dont see many on the street. They have a lot of problems with them including electric problems that seem to be notorious.

hes sellin it for 2500 and i talked to the guy last night and hes foreign and is loaded with money so he said hed take less 4 sho......

If you have a mullet and you live in your car or under the hood of your car because if you own a LT1 thats where your going to spend most of your life....fixing it

okay dont even start with that crap....not that i dont like my stang but really the only reason that i bought my stang is because i looked for several months and never found a decent z28 or TA in my price range except for a few automatics so then i decided to cross over the mustang path and happend to find one..went and test drove it...and liked it so i bought it. if money was not an object when buying a car i would 4 sho be in a z28 or ta

Dont tempt yourself, stick with what you have even if you get the trans am you wont be happy as with anything you get, i think about trading my car in every week it pisses me off but i know whatever i get i wont be entirely happy, but if you do decide to get an f-body get an ls1

lt1's (and really any chevy 350) are good engines...

unless you abuse the **** out of them they dont break... you have to be a REAL f.uck up to mess those engines up...

so... I really dont understang why you think that they break...

1) either way ill rape u in a race so ur not benefittin there
2) 96 stang looks a lot nicer than 95 t/a those look like underside of a fat girl3) $2500=prob a ****kicker
4) u dont have a mullet
5) its not an ls1
6) ur the only 1 on here wit a purple mustang lol

They break.....have you ever owned one.....they have a weak rear end the tranny (unless its a 6 speed) is a joke and the engine is a pain in the a** just to maintain. And i'm not even going to start on the electricals:nono:

well i'm pretty sure that what he is lookin at is a 6spd...

You dont know unless you've had one close to you...granted a 350 is great but like I said maintaining it is a b**** and then you have to replace things for example the knock sensor is a piece......

I know the rear end its almost the same as a a V6 mustang 7.5 inch......

Mustangs are built 10x better than f-bodies. The doors and dash are way too big on fbodies and will rattle like a mf'er. If he wants $2500 for this car, its gotta be crap. The doors on my iroc sound like they are gonna fly off sometimes.
