Motor trend did some virtual simulations for the 3 different models of mustahg/camaro that will be available in 2009. Download the file and just open the .exe file. When its running, you can rotate, zoom, or whatever.

I skimmed the real article in the mag the other day ...basically in the end it said:

No car will ever outsell america's fav muscle car, the mustang. as far as performance, they were fairly even, and only time will tell who will come out on top

 

yeah the camaro will always be a little faster in each category, but mustang faithfuls likely wont ditch their stang for the 'maro

lol i like how in the video it looks like the V6 win's in both events and the numbers say the Camaro won...

 

yeah those numbers seem a little off. going 15.1 @ 100 mph would be like having nice power, but horrible traction

 

i mean think about it, FOrd made their car 2 yrs before Chevy, so they just had to aim a lil higher then what was already posted... and no one is guna start buyin v6's that are just BARELY faster then a V6 Mustang, chevy has never realized it's not about power alone...it's about BANG for your buck... so just barely beatin a stang but for 5-7 grand more... ima still go wit the stang...

 

thats awesome, you can move the camera around, so you can really see whats going on, the V6 pony gets off the line much faster, but the camaro slowly catches up... the race from the side looks 10x better than the gay angle they start at...
