Wow now if you could only learn how to drive with a stock clutch, (let alone a stage 2)... yes learning how to do that might help, don't you think?

did you get a t-loc? if not do it now its the same price for them to take out the old open diffirental and install the gears on the new t-lock then pull it all apart and do it again, plus a used t-lok can be had off ebay for cheap and if its high mileage you can get a rebuild kit off ebay for 40ish bucks. i HIGHLY recomend this mod.

yeah tell me about it, it adds another 300 bucks to the entire job... the 550 package from MTing, and the t-lok, thats almost a grand all said and done...

Just wondoring....why do you need a stage 2 clutch? You have a V6... Im not flaming but I was just wondoring becasue you could have spent that money towards mods that will actually make your car faster. The clutch and flywheel is nice and all but you really dont need it. Im on the stock GT clutch with way more than 400lbs of torque. I have had no problems with slipping or anything.

With all the money i spent i could of used it for a down payment towards an 03 cobra
you didn't have anything in your old stang what are you talkin about? an 03 cobra...u couldn't afford that...or the insurance...

the reason you regret the v6 is cuz you wrecked it and somehow didn;t get caught for it...and through the grace of being well off ur parents bought u a new nicer car for you to **** up...

which weren't you sayin soemthing about gettin rid of the vette?...and u wanted a Z...

just because we dont want to pay the money for insurance on a GT or Cobra dont mean we cant make a six go fast...with all of the money we are saving on insurance we are buying parts

I'd say our 6ers look a million times better then alota the GT out there.. not being cocky, but just stating a fact, the money we saved on insurance and original cost, we could throw into other things, like looks...

to be honest, i'm lucky to have gotten a brand spankin new Mustang to begin with, so i'm gratefull for anything I have... and just and FYI there are plenty mid 13 sec 6ers with less then 3 grand into them...thats WELLL under the 4-5 grand price gap in the GT and V6 models ...

This is very true. As much as I dislike the V6......I personally know a guy that has a LOW LOW 10 maybe 9 second V6 mustang. He has a custom turbo kit that he pieced together himself. All in All the entire turbo kit cost him like $1500! Hes a really good mechanic and Im sure he had to fabricate some stuff but thats just badass! He bought a new turbo then all he had to do I think was turn the headers upside down and find the pipes to fit. Obviously he wouldnt be running 9's with just a turbo kit....... He has a built block, ported heads, cams, you name it hes got it. Those V6's are no joke with some boost. Only with boost though. You can buy a V6 for dirt cheap and build your own custom turbo kit. It would be faster than a GT and it would be MUCH cheaper than buying one. Also the insurance is ALOT less!

I don't know who you people have insurance with but the v6/gt gap is not that big. I don't like sixers either, but you could make the same argument with a gt purchase vs a cobra.

thats what i was going to say... with my insurance company (state farm) it was a $8 a month difference from a v6 to gt. i asked them just because i was curious. i dont think you can get many mods with $8 a month.

Awesome my friend. I already knew this info before alot of you guys though. I just dont understand why most of the gt guys have to chip in and say you could of spent that on upgrading to a gt. v6's arent supposed to be fast so when someone gets smoked by a modified one theres even more of a thrill, but im sure most of you wouldnt think of it that way. I'll be honest im getting a gt next year at this time for graduation. I'm still keeping my sixer and i garuntee i will always like it more.

You keep modding my friend. Next step should deffintly be a blower and heads then you'll be kicking some butt.
