where can i get tinted covers for taillights/headlights online?

also, is it legal with the taillights since we got that 3rd light on our trunks? and legal on headlights cause we got fog lights, correct?

I think www.autobadges.com has the tints for the 05's , also check ebay, everything is on ebay... I know Mustang Tuning carries the Chrome Trim around the lights, idk if your interested in that also...

Autobadges has all that stuff for 99-04 as well.

Ebay has them for like 25 bux with shipping.

Both places carry 50% and blackout tint.

Law is depending in which state you live in, I've heard that since we have a 3rd brake light you would be ok to have blackouts on taillights.

I'm positive that blackouts on headlights are illegal. If you have the clear headlights you might be able to get away with the 50% tint, but if you have smoked then I doubt it.

 

Do not go eBay, even though the guy me and several others got them from got kicked off, doesn't mean he can't reregister under a new name and sell them again. Took me and Mahnot over 2 months to get ours (only after filing paypal complaint did we get them).

And, (as far as Georgia law goes). I asked an officer about the headlight/taillight tints, he said as long as you have a 3rd brake light you are ok. And as long as you have either driving lights or fog lights you are ok. But, I would ask a cop in your area, they will tell you!

But, I would personally just go with the smoked headlights. Not headlight tint. I had the GTS plastic headlight covers on cars in the past and would take them off at night, they block a lot of light. Especially if it is raining, you can't see chit in the rain with them on!

 

is there anywhere that sells less than a 50% taillight tint? i only want like a 30.. so its not too dark.

 

to be honest, you can go to walmart or any autoparts store and buy a roll of regular window tint. It will work just as good and is only like $5-10. You'll just have to cut it yourself, and can get it as dark or light as you want.

 

30% is darker than 50%, you might be thinking 70% or so which is lighter.

 

and to be honest, my 50% tints are perfect in any light, you can always see them, don't worry about that...

 

alright, i wanna get new nheadlights anyways, when i got the car, one headlight is new, and other is old (stock headlights but one is all fogged up)

i wanted clear corner headlights and do want tint for taillights tho...

but yea, as soon as i see a parked cop in the city during a fri/sat night (they camp out waiting for kids to be stupid) so ill just roll up and ask

also, one of my fog lights doesnt work, wut bulb can i get to replace or do i need to buy new fog lights in general?

 

I more than likely will be getting 50%. I think the blackouts are too dark. Do you have any pics with yours in both day and night?

Also did you ever get those side marker lights on your rear bumper you were looking for?

 

3rd Brake light : that's the one I'm getting. The OEM ones are pretty much the same price on eBay and from ford.

As long as its just the bulb and not wiring, the fog light bulb is just your regular Sylvanin H3. I'm pretty sure it's a H3, just go to a autoparts store and use their catalog to find the bulb.
