Default White Gauges

Was wondering out of the people here who have white face gauges how hard they were to install. And the inverter? What about that thing, easy to install and should I pay the extra $16 to get the digital inverter?

This is the ones I am thinking about buying, anyone have or heard any thing good or bad about them? any reccomendations?

Just spend the money and get a cluster. They are plug and play so you can't screw the needle positions up, also they take about 20 mins to install. I have simcos which are dc'd but the autometers look identical except for brand logo. See pics.

That's what I was going to do until I found this:

It's the bezel with the 35th Anniversary logo in it. Want to get that instead.

Autometers have simco internals.

don't buy the cluster unless you want to spend a hell of a lot more money. the gauge face inserts are much cheaper and look good when installed. the hardest part is just taking the dash apart, but you'd have to do all that for a cluster swap anyway. hooking up the glow is easy too - just splice the positive and negative of the existing cluster/dash light. the whole process takes about 2 hours, but is relatively easy, just a little time consuming. you aren't going to save time or make life easier by buying a new cluster, you'll just be spending more money. get the face plates and spend the $150 you save on a cool engine mod.

I bought Simcos from MT and they actually lit up green not blue so I returned them. Other then that they are pretty nice, I liked them. Since MT doesnt sell the blue ones anymore Ill be getting the MRT ones.

I have the exact same ones from the first post. Best $30 bucks i've spent on my car...They look awsome at night, i'd say they look just as good as the simcos..

Yep, that's what I did. Did you get the digital inverter or stick with the analog one?

I didn't get the digital because I didn't need all the shaded of green and blue, just wanted blue!

Got any interior pics at night?
