So I was sitting in class today talking to this kid who just got a 94 integra. Its a complete ricer from top to bottom and has verything that I hate about these kinds of cars. All he does is bragg about how great his car is and how he is always getting so much attention with it. He tried to tell me today that he got pulled over because it was too loud and the reason was that he dosent have cats in it. I know that cars are louder without cats but than he went on to tell me that he gained 50hp because he didnt have cats in it. I told him he was wrong but of course he said i have no idea what im talking about. Seriously 50hp. what an idiot. I would like to race him but he has a turbo and I wont be able to beat him. It sucks that people who know nothing about cars can have fast ones.

Ask him for a dyno...r u sure you can't beat him...u seem to have a few mods urself...from a start u might have the advantage...and if he beats you u just tell him well glad ur turbo kicked in... and go spend some money on Juice...lol

 

i just dont want to lose. id proly beat him off the line but thats it. he said its 280 to the rear wheels. But who knows if hes telling the truth. I dont want to deal with his crap if I lose.

 

Seriously, why is everyone so affraid to lose a race?, I have lost plenty in my life - I was a chevy guy. He sounds like a vinegar douche, just watch him whenever he nails the car leaving the parking lot or something, that'll give you a good idea of your chances. If he beats you, keep your mods on the DL, then bet him $$$ later, and spank him like a red headed stepchild.

dude alota idiots like that don't realize it's not what the engine makes, it what makes it down to the pavement...my friend's wrx tells me he's pushin 300+ wrhp but when the numbers come down...he can just barely keep up with an STi...and they have alot less then 300 hp..somethin like 260 hp at the wheels...if i remember the rear get about 60% of the power... the point being he's probably counting what the advertisements say...26+ hp with a CAI...yeah not likely...maybe on a cobra or blown car...and so on... he's most likely embelishing everything...remember the thread awhile back from the SRT forum where they were talkin about how they saw a civic beat a cobra with a CAI and exhaust, and that cobras are slow... lol come'on bro, just take him, and if he wins barely tell him u ain't got nothin done to your car, where he went outa nd put all that **** in it...

I raced a 96 Prelude SI with full exhaust intake and a tune when all i had was a CAI and beat her AND i had a friend in the car... trust me they love talkin ****, but when it comes down to it...

 

If you beat him, you'll get the money and the "respect"....to some people thats more important.

ne ways...just race him...you should be able to keep with him....remember that our cars have the power curve lower in the rpm..and integra's have the curve higher in the RPM...AND!!!! he needs to wait for the turbo to spool at like 3500 to 4000 rpm...cause those cars cant produce enuf exhaust to do didly squat....and if u lose...jsut do donuts in the parking lot and ask him to do that...hahaha

If he says he has 280hp and having no cats means 50hp more then he has prob. about 230. cats add hp but not 50
