I'm 19. I was thinking yesterday and I actually forgot how old I was for a minute. My brain is letting me down already.

I hear ya brother,

Take a look at my hard earned lesson. No tickets were issued this night and no cops were involved. How I managed to drive 8 miles along Fort Lauderdale beach on the main strip with spring break at it's peak, and avoided the cops while smashing my car is beyond me. I'm not one who goes to church every Sunday. It must have been karma paying me back. I too enjoy my brew, BASS Ale, and will toke on occasion too.

My job should be starting any day now. (I work outside at a golf course so, yea no work when cold) I'll be working 40 hours a week plus 12 credit hours of college courses M-Thur. Finally, something to do again.

Nope. Cart attendant. Make 8 bux an hour plus a ton of tips. It's a public course, but a nice one. I should avg. at least 1,500 a month at 40 hours a week starting April. I've been there for 5 years now, only 19. Been around golf my entire life, 0.5 handicap.

My best friend quit school caus ehe couldnt handle work and school... he's gonna learn the hard way like my older brother...

BTW... what are you going to school for... (i'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering @ NJIT yep you guessed it, cars hopefully)

and this thread = hijacked... its old and needs to die anyway
I was in school for business. Starting this quarter I'm transferring tho. As others no I'm doing an automotive program called CAP (College Automotive Program). CAP is through Daimler Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. The school I'm taking CAP at is only one of 34 schools in the nation that offers it, and actually the one I'll be attending is ranked as the #1 school by CAP out of those 34. Yea, thats pretty sweet. (They also have a GM program and is ranked #2 out of the country) Once done I'll be have a degree in Automotive Technology and be a Master Technician through Daimler Chrysler.

CAP starts in sept., so until then I'm gettin all my general education courses out of the way. Best part about CAP? Yea, it's a paid co op. And I shoud have a sponsoring dealership set up any day now (I work as an intern there), they pay for half of the tuition as well.

Like said, this is my 5th year working there. I pretty much run the place outside. All bosses are inside, it's the most laid back job possible. Outside working = nothing better. I got a 2 dollar pay increase this year from last year, bout damn time. lol

*EDIT* congrats on the intern and good school...
They have a program through Ford, but it only brings you 40% of the way through a Master Tech:censored: sux, to say the least.

I was set on GM, but really liked how Daimler was talked about.

I'll be a Master Tech only with Daimler, but I'm sure it wouldnt take to much more time to also switch over through Ford. The problem is all the courses are geared towards Daimler engines/cars/etc.
Heres some more on it, in case you wanted to know: http://www.cap.daimlerchrysler.com/d...x.htm?OpenForm
