Being Sick SUCKS
Yes, well as you have probably noticed, I havnt been around this week...
I've been battling a bitch of an upper respratory tract infection. Im being killed by this damn thing. Tightness in my chest, sinus infection, fever, sore throat, hard to talk, man this thing sucks.
Anyone else battling something similar to this? I dont even want to look at my inbox for e-mails on Friday *shudder*

Well, here in the south we are getting the dreaded pollen in its start up stage. It's gonna be a rough 4 to 6 weeks here for sure. I cleaned some tree stuff from my windows and had immediate sneeze attack. I usually dont get sinus problems but when it starts it can be a real problem. Plus I smoke so I'm looking for trouble this year. I feel for ya bro..
You may want to see a dr. If you got a fever and such you probably have bronchitis.. That can lead to even more problems. You do not want it turn into pnemonia. If it's kicking you that hard go see the doc..

Went today actually, hence why i know what I have. I have quite the laundry list of perscriptions too...
One Antibiotic, One decongestant, and an Inhaler for my airway.
And then I get to have a chest x-ray, YAY!
I actually miss work right now.

sounds like a real bad case of bronchitis.. But an x-ray will show it for sure. I'll bet you cough till you get one of those massive headaches? I hate that. Been there done that. x-ray is good thing. kinda like a lung dyno...

I have sinus infections all the time and they suck. Last winter, I had chronic sinusitus which is basically just medical terms for a really really bad sinus infection. I got hives from the infection and was out for about a week. I had to get a ct scan of my sinuses, take steriods multiple times, and now i have to take a pill and use a nose spray every morning. I hate sinuses.

Ya'll got it easy right now, my (14 month old) son has a Staff Infection on his nose and fingers. WE still don't know how he got it. And we are supposed to get his bloodwork results back tomorrow. I pray they don't have to put him in the hospital!!!!

the crappy thing ive been dealing with, aside from all the crap being passed around, they recently ripped up and replaced the carpet in my office building and damn near everyone got sick from that. carpet was probably 10 years old. a lot of crap sent into the air from that.

I was getting allergy shots from age 4 to 13. I mean the the ones where the give you a shot in both arms to be able to handle it all. I have no asthma now. Unless I smoke more than 2 packs a day. Then breathing gets kinda choppy. I was allergic to grass, pollen, dust, mold, but getting those shots all through my childhood worked. I rarely get sick anymore and I'm 45 yrs old. But sometimes I do get a sneeze attack that would cripple superman. LOL. This year gonna be tough here in the south, cause pollen already started.
