I think they did make autos, Mach 1's also came in auto.

 

it could be like the cruse control the sticker on the window of my car said that my car has... but doesn't. Or, the one mustang I found online from a dealer that was "5 spd manual" but the pictures showed it to be automatic....

It's gotta be a typo, I don't know about other Cobras but I know the 99's and 01's only came with 5 speeds.

 

No cobra EVER came with an auto. The machs did, cobra didnt. Just a typo.
