went to the track and disappointed....
first off i got there at 7 pm and i didnt stage until 830. made my first pass and with 16 psi in the 315's i flashed the convertor on the third light spun the crap out of the tires lifted a lil bit 2.1 was the 60 8.3 1/8th and finished with a 12.7 at 114. second pass came at 10 pm waited in a huge line of cars same pressure this time stalled the convertor at 2300 tires wanted to break loose spun at first lifted and got back into quickly and with a 2.0 60 8.1 1/8th lost some rpms at the 1000 ft mark converter slipped or something and still finished with a 12.5 at 114. last time i was at the track in november with the stock tranny and 275 dr's i got a 12.5 at 114. i probably went slower tonight becuase the tires didnt hook.
yes good times but i need to be at low 12's not mid. im going to look into a new convertor and some suspension. im getting a vibration from the tranny tunnel at highway speeds. o well not going to the track till i get some more suspension mods doesnt look like i will break through the 12.5 barrier.

stock control UCA and LCA, pro kit springs, bullitt shocks struts, 3200 stall single disk, built tranny, 373's. thats about it besides the mongoose vortech kit with paxton a/a intercooler. i figure if i get drag shocks, UCA's,LCA's, and sub frames i should be set for a lower ET but traction will still be a issue with the 315's or my 275/40 DR's. im out of time to do all this now i leave the country in 2 months and i wont see the car till 07.
