Default I survived the storm!

damn that storm was a bad one.. the street my house is on is almost flooded and that was even before we got more tornado warnings tonight. The town I live in is below sea level I think so it's very rare we actually do get a tornado right in my area, thank god because I'm terrified of the things. Anybody else getting any damage from these storm systems tonight?

damn.. it was crazy cuz i was watching my soap opera (shut up) and we started getting the warnings from the national weather service and I looked outside and it wasn't raining and I could even see a few stars lol. We got another warning 5 minutes later and I looked again and it was raining and the trees were blowing mad hard.. I HATE this time of year.. we have storms every other week

But about that storm from last night, luckilly it died out just before getting to my area, just got some rain!!!! Which is both good and bad, because I wouldnt have minded turning in hail damage to get my cobra hood!

thats not true, almost every single time a hurricane comes it is SUPPOSED to go another direction... forecasters (i know its not their fault) can never predict what a hurricane is going to do. the one that ****ed up punta gorda like two years ago was supposed to go farther into the gulf, tampa was all prepared and then the storm hit farther south in punta gorda.

It rained for three days straight here, and our park always floods really bad. Well, one jeep was in the ditch beside our park flooded, one car was behind it stuck, and my friend got washed off another road in his car into a ditch with 6 ft of water. The three of them had to climb out the window before the car filled with water. Luckily they all made it out safely. Today (knowing that they were ok) it was kinda funny because he had to go through school without a lot of his books and things. At lunch, he even won the drawing for the parking spot next to school, but now doesnt have a car. They also lost two ipods and three cellphones, which isnt funny, but those can be replaced. Lives can't.

10 in one season ...... try this in one day...

November 24, 2001 Tornado Coverage
A total of 36 confirmed tornadoes roared through Alabama killing four and injuring many others

And that wasn't during our tornado season which is in the spring. and when your hurricanes get to us guess what we get...... thats right more tornados.

It's severe weather awareness week starting monday.. And it looks to be an active tornado season for you guys in tornado alley. Heed the warnings, and have your safe room or shelter prepared. You can never rule out a damaging storm this time of year.. Just be ready for it.. :surrender
