Default Paint help

I've been looking for some cheap paint to go on my interior panels. But everywhere i find it's over $200 for a quart. So guys who have their interior panels painted, how much paint did it take you, and how many coats did you use. If anybody knows some websites that sell some cheap redfire paint (paint code= G2) please, please let me know. Thanks

$200 for a quart is about right but if you dont need that much you can get it in smaller quantities. it even comes in spray cans to make it easy on you. look at this site for example - http://www.expresspaint.com/

edit: btw, your paint doesnt look like redfire. it looks like mine which is laser red. redfire is the brighter red. i could be wrong though.

Thanks floppy. But Redfire is a darker paint than redfire. I'm having somebody paint it for me for free. As long as i get him the paint. And when i got my bumper done, it took a quart, which costs $235 a quart :bash:

Heres a pic of lazer red and redfire. I could be wrong thought, cause i have like 8 coats of wax on my car

Whoa, you want to spend $200 bucks to paint your interior? Damn, that's cool if you have the money. I went to pep boys or auzone, forget which one and got two cans of black paint for like $17.00 a can, and also bought some clear coat, took me about 3 hrs to get everything painted. Of course i do realize that my car is black and black is black if you know what i mean and yours is redfire red which is not a common paint color so i dont' know..

both of the cars in that pic look like the same paint to me, one could be faded or one more waxed but they look to be the same color which is also the same color as my car, laser red. im almost positive redfire is a bright red paint. and how can you say redfire a darker paint that redfire? jk.

and a quart of paint normally costs around $200 because its a 3 stage paint. i doubt you will find it cheaper than that. why do you need a whole quart for painting your interior? how much are you painting? good luck with it either way.

Thanks for the help floppy. I don't know how much it will take to do my interior. lol, and i ment to say redfire is darker than lazer red. Just because it's the same paint, just redfire has the pearlcoat in it.

Another pic... 1998 lazer red paint (faded probably) and my car

Well thanks. I love the roush font clip but it's really low and i've scraped it a couple times, nothing noticable, just don't like that feeling. And i have the steeda wing, the roush wing is more like your stock one, but sticks out farther and has 2 more pillers. For your car, i'd say Zaino because it's black, but maguirier's wax will definatly livin it up.
