I just bought a brand new red 2004 Callaway C12 for $117,000. 612hp. top speed is 217. 6 speed, S/C V8.




Too bad it's on Grand Turismo 4. Anybody else play this game??? I think its a great game if you have a lot of time. Its not like NFS, a lot more realistic. Right now im going crazy and playing it all the time. It hink its the best game ever.

Yes, that game is sick! I haven't played it in a while cause I'm playing EA Sports NCAA baseball right now, but there are some sick cars on there.

 

I go through phases. It kinda lost my interest once I found out you can make the game race the races for you. No challenge.

 

Forza > Gran turismo



only thing I wish forza had that it doesnt is a 1/4 mile drag strip that gave times. All you really can do it run the test course and look at the time after you go 400m. Otherwise, it rocks

 

forza>grand turismo<Need for Speed.......

to me...forza seems more realisitc......u cant slide in GT4 even with TC off......i have both and prefer Forza....half my cars are mustangs of different power classes

 

I love GT4. I go through periods where I play it a lot. Haven't in a while though. I haven't heard of this Forza game. It's for PS2?

 

NO, it's xbox only. I love the game and I try to get in a few races every day. Here's a rundown of where it's better than GT4

online play...nuff said

customize cars beyond just rims... for a good amount of cars, but not all

decal creator...no, not the kind of decals that are dragons or something stupid, this thing is a bonafide freakin awesome feature that will let you create up to 100 layers on each side of your car(600 total possible) of different shapes and numbers. If you ever play it online, you will see some incredible designs. The possibilities are endless

Rewards for making the game harder... turning off abs or tcs or making the difficulty harder will incrase your earnings in a race by a certain percentage.

Damage...while it's no burnout 3, the damage modeling is very well done. It's also fun sometimes to take your enzo to 220 mph and slamit around the test course and drive it with the bumper half-hanging off

Damage physics... pretty cool. part of the difficulty setting, things like revving too long into redline and wrecking your car actually affect how the car drives, shifts, and performs. In GT4, you can slam head on into someone and you're not affected at all. This makes things more intense when things get close to not smash up people.

ferraris and porsches.... for some God-only-knows reason, none of the GT's have ferrari's or porsches(GT4 has RUF, but its not officially porsche), and forza has all the good oens, from carrera GT to enzo to modena.

that's all I can think of for now...just writing that makes me wanna go play it...

LoL i was guna pick up Forza this weekend, it's 15 bucks now, but I ended up gettin Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood...****IN AMAZING GAME...I love the game/strategy involved...

 

I want to get the new game Black...people are saying they love it

 

Something i've learned is games that come on tv usually do because they need the advertisement...Back when i was huge into gaming everyone knew about the good games before they came out, so when the day came, everyone had it...or when it came, everyone didn;t...lol i'm still waitin to see...I'm really thinkin about sellin the Xbox...i rarely play it...

 

DUDE!!! buy forza before you sell it. I [almost] guarantee you'll decide otherwise. Of course, that is if you like simulations, this aint no need for speed.

I am in amazement that the game is that cheap. But then again, GT4 is the same price and it's still a very good game and both have ben out for about a year.

 

PGR3>Forza>Gran Turismo.....Plain and simple.

 

I sold mine on ebay for 160 all together. I've had my 360 since it came out....and haven't played one game on it. LOL I'm a bum.

you cant compare an xbox360 arcade racer with an xbox simulation. 2 completely different games

 

that's the one thing GT4 is definitely missing
