so im getting annoyed at my LMI's....cant stand the drond inside between idle to 2300 rpm (accelerating) and just under 2000 cruisin'......sooo...im contemplatings if i should keep em and get magnapacks w/ an x or h pipe....

well i know that...i want loud....just the drone is hell on my head...and from wat ive heard.....the Packs dont drone as much.....

 

I went with the slp over packs because of the overall sound..The packs might not drone alot but the slp sounds better IMO and i dont think it sounds like a camaro:dots: just loud as fawk

 

i was watching alot of vids and im kinda liking the PACKS....

would swithcing midpipes change the popping? (less)

 

when i first had mine on i didnt even think they were that loud but now that i got the o/r h it is perfect for me but my parents are makin me change it so i am going catted x with slp longtubes... that will make it a little softer then right now hopefully

 

wat do you think brandon? (40thblckgt).....should i keep em and do wat roushrider is doing?

I don't get you guyz, one minute ur all ravin about the full SLP set up and now your all tryin to change them? LoL...wtf? It sounded pretty Damn nice to me...Aren't the magnapacks and SLP mufflers the same concept? if it's that much of an issue wouldn't you wana change to a different type of muffler, ie Chambered...

 

I say just change the mufflers.SLP has a bunch of different ones.That is why they are a modular design.

But the Packs do rule

 

my friend who sold me the shifter has the packs...thats who bassically get me into packs now...does magnflow sell just the resonator?

 

Just get the SLP LM2's mufflers. They should swap out in like 20 mins or less. Unless you have the original LM's that arent modular.

i would say borla but 600 bucks for a catback is a little too high i think. I have an O/R Prochamber w/ flowmaster 40's and they i think it sounds great. It might not be as loud as the slp but it has an awesome tone. I posted a vid in the exhaust section but it doesnt do it justice... plus its only reving. I hope to post a vid of what it really sounds like going down the road by this weekend. Not that it really matters but every time i bring it in for service at Ford, i get compliments from the entire service department. If you want loud keep the SLP, if you want deep tone go with flowmasters.

Thats exactly what i was thinking. Not too long ago everyone was ranting that SLP was the chit.

Lets not jump on the Springs bandwagon because he decided to change his set up. I heard your exhaust before and i think its badazz.

Didn't you just get your exhaust done? I'd leave it alone, spend the $$$ on other stuff, when your done modding, then change the exhaust,again. When I joined this site, everyone dissed on flows and now everyone is dissin on flows and slp, I don't get it. All exhaust is overpriced and overrated, so just pick the one you like the best and tell everyone that it is the sh*t when they ask about it in a thread.
