what brand of headers?
i am going to get headers for my gt and thinking of putting a catted x pipe...is there any difference between catted x pipes say mac, slp, bassani, and dif. nosie and what do you recommend for headers that are under $500

Headers are really a waste of time and money on a stock Mustang. They do help with a blower and if after-market heads are used.
LT's will net more gains that shorties. In fact, shorties don't show any gains at all unless a power adder is used or with after-market heads.

yea but do headers change the sound of the car. because in the exhaust section that guys thats got the full slp setup... that car sounds insane!!!! like when he shifts low and the camera is outside the car. do u need headers to make that growl or just teh x pipe? here's the link

Wrong. Shorties add 10 at the wheels on any mustang dyno.
