Default Alternator

Well, as of the one week anniversary of having my car I have my first problem. I have a shaft bearing in my alternator that is spun and sounds like HELL! Alternator still works fine and all and I planned on going and getting another alternator today, the one I plan on getting is a Palladium. Some people say an altenator is an altenator, but I will highly disagree (never buy one from Autozone again, after replacing 4 in 4 days in a friends car).

But, anyway, has anyone ever used Palladium? it was reccommended to me from a guy here at work. he says they are damn good and he never had a problem with them. Just wondering if anyone has used them or reccommends another brand, the Palladium one is ($199.98)..

I think that's what Advance sells. If it is I went through three in less than an hour.I thought there was something wrong with the electrical system (Linc.MK VIII).I took the car to the dealer so they could track down the problem and it was just another bad rebuild.I would get a Ford rebuild, pricey but at least it was reliable.
This was before the days of internet access so there was no one to tell me any different.Thank God for Mustang Tuning's message boards.

If you ever plan to add a stereo system I would just upgrade to 170amp one. http://www.pa-performance.com/display.asp?sku=88
