got gears now what

Default got gears now what

so i have a 96 gt 5 speed Well...a friend of my families has alot of parts for mustangs...he has a set of 3.55, 3.73, and 4.10 gears...im not sure weather i want the 3.73 or 4.10's only cuz i dont know if im gonna get a second car b4 i go to college and be able to put the stang away...if i take the stang im gonna go 3.73 if i get another car 4.10..just because its a 125 mile ride to the school i wanna go to and its all highway so with gas prices i think yall see where im goin with that...but anyways just need to know what else i need he told me if i give him a hundred bucks and help him with the install i will have whichever set i want...i think if i have this right all i need is the gear oil...master bearing kit...and hes got the gears well and the speed cal..but thats it right????

3.73's if you wanna get blown

dont forget to recalibrate your speedo

You dont really need a speedcal, I used a speedo gear for my cobra and it works fine.

Get the 4.10s, either way, youll be happy, and you wont lose gas mileage. Mine went up infact, because you can leave the car in fifth gear and actually use it.
