Question New mustang shorting out ?????

I have a brand new 05 mustang. I have had it about 3 weeks and it has just started shutting down while parked. It completely loses all power. I then have to manually open and close the trunk. This usually restores power. Also the CD player just keeps shuffling after the power loss. I took it to a dealer, but of course culd not get it to do it so they would not help me. It happens about every three to four days. Can anyone tell me what this might be, or if there are any service bulletins out on this so I can direct the dealer to the problem. This is really frustrating with a brand new car. Please HELP!!! Thanks

The dealership cannot do anything for you unless it acts under their supervision or they know the cause of the problem. "Shorting" can be anywhere. If I were you id check out www.blueovalnews.com and try and find the bullitin for it or call ford's tech line and ask about shorting issues with the 05 mustangs.

Sounds like it is a battery problem to me. If your car just stalls the cd player shouldent shuffle around because it still has power, Like if you disconnect the battery the everything resets. Other than that i have no clue.. talk to a ford tech.
