Default headers

What headers will fit a 2001 4.6 mustang convertable automatic.

If you go to a site with parts they will have sets for 99-04 GT, just look around

i had thought I had read that there were fitment issues on the convertable's. And thought no better place to check then here.

As far as I know they are the same, If they don't have a convertible option when you are looking them up chances are they are universal (that goes for most parts). Any aftermarket part could have fitment issues, best thing to do is find something you think you like then ask about a specific one to see if someone has used it

If anything you might, have to remove the cross brace under the car. Even then it may not be an issue if it's there.

Yes there will be issues depending on what type of headers you decide to go with, with "shortys" you should NOT have any issues! However if you decide to go with LT's then there may or may not be a issue with the cross-member.
