Default I`m booked in.

.........For the Asylum. No, I`m booked in on the 3rd of May to get my FRPP gears fitted. Thing is, the guys doing the job are about 300 miles away. Whats my best option when they`re in? Trailer the car home or nurse it home taking many breaks maybe even an over night stay or that?
I don`t want to **** things up as I know there must be some kind of running in period.

Any info appreciated people

Drive it for 15 mins, let it cool for 30 mins, do this 2 more times (3 heat cycles) then go have some fun! Make sure your guy uses good oil in the rear.

Vary the RPM's and do 2 or 3, 30 min cool down stops. After that, you're good.

I could never resist the urge to just drive the crap out of it after getting gears put in.

Ok men, thanks. One more thing. Does the oil need changing soon after fitment or is it good for a while?

Change it at about 12,000 miles, then 24,000 mile intervals.
