Is it possible to take 2 of the old cats off my stock h-pipe and cut out a portions equal in length to the cats on a offroad x-pipe and weld those cats in it's place? ............hmmmmmmmm?

it wont work anyways since the mid-pipe you have is probably 2 1/2 inches and the stock is 2 1/4 inces in diameter.
