Default Auto-->Manual upgrade

Hey....sorry I know I been asking a lot of questions recently and dont have a lot of feedback to give because I dont know crap! haha. Anyway....assuming that I wanted to put a TR3650 manual tranny in a mach1 auto. What would that run me aside from the cost of the trans (ie cluth cable/pedal/shifter/install)?? Thanks.

You have a auto Mach1 and want it manual? I am confused.

Regardless who is doing this swap a shop or are you asking about general parts cost?

Well I dont have one, but yes that is what I would like to do. Put a manual trans into an auto mach. I was supposed to pick up a mach this weekend but the seller backed out on me. I found a different one that is PERFECT for me....except it is an auto and I NEED a manual. I can pick up a rebuilt TR3650 manual trans on ebay for about $800. I was wondering what it would cost me to have it installed by both a shop or if I were to do it on my own. Thanks

The mach I found has under 10K and is at a ridiculously awesome price. Its also got about 4 grand in drivetrain and suspension mods that I would eventually get around to doing myself anyway. I just have WAY more fun driving stick so if it was relatively cheap it was a route I would go. I guess Ill just sit tight and wait for a different car.

It'd be pretty expensive...might as well wait.

The cost can vary so much depending on what you pay for parts.

Stephen4536 or whatever his name was did it for around $800 I think the total cost was. He did all the work himself and got all the parts used locally. Its possible to do it for under a grand if you do it yourself and find the parts for cheap.
