Default water puddle in car

hey guys ive noticed that right behind my drivers seat my carpet is getting very wet and since it has been raining alot lately i thought maybe i had a leak somewhere since its a vert, but now i am thinking it could have something to do with the A/C anyone know how to fix this problem??

If it was anything with the A/C it would most likely be the heater core and if that was the issue you would have the carpet in front of the passanger seat wet/soaked since the heater core is in a sence right behind the passanger side airbad.

If you have water behind the drivers seat it could be the top or the window seal, when your shutting the door it could be getting cought on the top its self holding the window open and letting rain in i know the 96 we had not to long ago did that. Its not somthing common tho.

ah thanks, well actually i do have that problem on my passenger side where the window gets caught by the vert top but i leave it cracked just enough to clear the top and then usually put it all the way up when it rains, but like i said this is on the driver side and its a good bit of water

I got the same problem with my drivers side window, i just roll it down a bit when closing it then pull it back up after i fully closed it. But for the leak at the floor idk.

Leak in the back by the floor means you have a bad seal somewhere on the side. Time to start checking it out.

This explains everything. This seems to be a known problem with the verts. This link should explain everything and how to fix it. I'm having the same problem, and now I finally found the answer.
