Can anyone tell me how to get a fuel filter off a 1998 mustang gt? Thanks

 

If its like the 99+, Its right about the rear axle, then you have to have some fancy smancy 5 dollar disconnect too from autozone. You figure out the size, they come in an assortment of 5 or so, you have to press it into the fuel line to get it to disconnect. Then just swap the new one on. Hope this helps, dont know if its different cause you have a return style fuel system compared to my returnless.

 

its just a fuel line disconnect tool. if you do alot of work on your car you need to get this i have used it many times for random ford lines and stuff. just find the one for fords it fits them all.
