Alright I am looking at a 8.8 rear for my car from a 97 gt and it is listed as fitting 94-97 I have a 98 v6 was there any difference between the 97 and 98 or should this axle fit just fine

 

94-98 had the same axle length so I don't see what the difference would be, except maybe in gearing?

 

Yeah the gearing is 3.27 but I will get a new speedo gear to cover that other wise it's an 8.8 with 86k on it I'm getting it cause my rear is starting to have issues with the bearings and the diff leaking the t-lok will be nice too all for $400 shipped free to my door
