The casting looks kinda weak and those marks are probably from where they were knocking off some of the excess material, probably with a grinder.

True, but it shouldn't look like that after it's all done.

Yeah I know what you mean, I'm the same way with stuff, a little to butt hurt over it too. I used to be that way with my BMX bikes and Skateboard Decks.
