Broken ring and pinion bearing
anyone ever have this problem?
|
I know a dude with an '05 GT that had that problem, but he is a moron who beats the ever-living shit out of his car.

I've had a pinion seal go bad.
I honestly always wondered why they sell those upgraded rear end covers with the adjustable bearing supports. I guess this is why. I always thought it was reserved for the hard core slicks and line lok guys at the track. I am still waiting on my IRS cover to crack on me like I keep hearing will happen at some point. |
You talking about the bearing failing? If so it happens to cars that have differential leaks and have low fluid. Happens to the F150 guys alot who go off roading etc.. and tear up the seals for the diff cover or pinion seal.

lol i read the name of the thread wrong i completely thought you wrapped the rear end up or sheared teeth of ring or pinion or something
