Depends on what you want, do you want to go faster or have the car look better? It's your choice.I would however just get a drop in K&N filter and pull the intake silencer instead of getting a CAI.

Go with an intake and spend the rest on making it look pretty.

dont we all need more money lol. umm if your going for acceleration get gears and t-lock that would help out alot... and get the filter like spike said and dont waste it on a cai and just take the silencer off. other than that do what u want for looks i say either lower it or windows tinted that does alot for a black car if you tint them right!

Well with $800 depends on what you want. If you want to dump it all in performance, all in speed, or a little of both. Personally, I'd get the mid pipe, tint your windows, get the gril delete and chin then save what ever is left towards a gears fund.

I don't know, going w/ go before show should be the universal creedo for anything one modifies.

What's your objective with the car? I don't think it's either right or wrong to do either go before show or visa-versa. It all depends on what you want. I don't know if anything has been done to your car at all yet, so it's hard to suggest not knowing that part too. Anyway, if it were me and it were stock, I'd put in a K&N filter, pull the silencer and buy some springs.

Oh by the way, welcome back M0nkeh. I was beginning to think that you had died.

the auto and convertible doesnt matter as long as the job is done right. one of my friends has an auto v6 with 4.10s. it is a good option i would do it if i didnt have to spend most of my hard earned money on christmas presents

also dont waste your time on tint...i see you live in florida...i live in michigan. im assuming since you live in FL most of the time your top is down windows and all...so unless you want to ride top down windows up its not the best. here in michigan i have had many offers of friends of mine to get my car tinted but no point. i leave my windows up from november to march...then its pretty much top down every day until next november...

i dunno this is just my opinion to not waste money on tint on a convertible

Tint is not just for while on the road. Helps keep the car cooler while in parking lots for long periods of time. Also helps protect the interior from the the sun which will turn your interior to crap after time. I have tint and ride with my windows down, not a waste at all.

but when your top is down a majority of the time it may not be worth it. when its warm here, my top is down no matter what. as for keeping the car cool. thats why we have the drop top but i understand where you are coming from, it does add to the look with the windows up

Well @ king, all i have done to my car is the SLP1 Catback exhaust...

i basically want to make the car louder/alittle faster...but at the same time, look good of course. (Chin spoiler, tint, shorty antenna, SS bumper inserts atleast)

then wanting to do the C/A intake, maybe pulleys, XPIPE and headers of course ((But LTs and shorty X or reg X and short heads?)) and AFTER those, a tune and prolly stop with the upgrades

just not sure what to get FIRST, then try to save the best i can for the rest....

Don't hate on the sixers, they are just as important to this community as the rest of us.

If you want a shorty antenna just cut your stocker down and repaint it black to it looks now. Then you have a short one for almost nothing. And don't waste money on CAI just pull the silencer and add a new or used drop in K&n filter for the same results.

As for what mid pipe to use with long tubes, you have to run a shorty mid pipe with long tube headers because they are much longer then the stock manifolds or shorty headers are. Its up to you wither you want an H or X.
