Found this in my dash yesterday after I was trying to trace a rattle. Any idea what this is?

 

I see GPS in the 2nd picture. It's no a low jack is it

 

Yeah, I noticed the GPS part too. It also says Mercury on it? The part is also connected to two long blacks wires that are wrapped and tucked in behind the fog light, defroast, and trac off buttons and it is also spliced into a harness back there. In fact, the splicing looks as though it wasn't splice but came from the factory. As far as I know, I don't have Lo Jack but then again, I though my car was stock until I found stuff like Eibach springs.
