I have BBK Shortys on my car there harder than u think u dont need to Pull the Motor
But goto the BBK web site and look at the directions http://www.bbkperformance.com/instal...structions.php
I just did my headers
u have to remove the starter, motor mount, h-pipe,
getting em out is the hard part i think
its up to you i thought it was a huge pain in the a$$
but it has a cool sound
got a bit more torq and HP

Shorties just aren't worth. The amount of time you spend for just 5 hp just makes it worse. If you want headers, long tubes or nothing. As for install, the easiest way is either w/ the engine slightly lifted out or w/ the k-member dropped.

Ya true
i Would go with Long tubes if i did it again
but i would have had someone else do it
i found it to be a major pain but im proof that it can be done with the engine in the car

i just had bbk L.T. headers installed on my 08-4.6 ltr mustang. it sounds great, we dyno'ed it before and after, and i gained about 40 rwt & 20hsp. ONLY thing,, i dont really like is the raspy sound it makes when you put your foot in it, they say(installers) that sound is normal. they put my car on a lift and showed me where the that sound is coming from. Anybody else experiance that noise/sound also ?
