Default Pypes?

I have been shopping for an exhaust for the mustang and have noticed that anything that is made by "Pypes" is much cheaper. Why? Different material? Lower quality?
Any info would be greatly aprecciated

I have heard these in person. On an 05 v6 and an 05 gt. Both sounded very poor. It was a very "cheap" sound. if i had an 07 GT, i would rather keep stock exhaust sound instead of a pypes system. What are you looking to get out of an exhaust, sound? power?

Ford did pretty good with the stock exhaust system on S197's. Get a Bassani Axle Back and call it a day.

Looking more for sound than power, now i am leaning towards the SLP Loudmouths.
And i assumed they would sound crappy becasue of the price, thanks for the help!
