Default similiarity?

What is the difference between Mac x-pipe and bbk x-pipe?
or mac prochamber and a vrs x-pipe?

there are so many combinations out there, that it would take me aleast a couple of hours to get it all figured out. why some people would choose JBA performance instead of Mac. What's gonna stop ya from spending a couple thousands of dollars to find a perfect setup that might take several months?

what sound are you looking for really?

You shouldn't be looking into X-pipes for your v6 anyway. You don't want to run one on an even firing motor meaning that two cylinders on both sides fire at the same time in the same row. An X-pipe will not help with performance on your v6 either keep it true duals or an H-pipe at the most, but a crossover isn't needed on your car.

word, An x-pipe will likely make your car high-pitched and raspy.

well i actually wasn't looking for any exhaust system out there, it was just for future preference. Besides I'm fine with the exhaust I have now. The reason why I asked was because, I didn't think everyone had covered all areas of exhaust combinations on all years for the mustang.
x-pipes, headers, catbacks, axlebacks, hi-flow cats, etc.

what does one exhaust system have offer that the other failed to do?
everyone's personal experience I guess is what I'm looking for......

Well what I can tell you is that the X-pipe is the worst idea for the v6. Every other good combo has been done on both GT's,V6's,CObra's etc.... We even have an exhaust sticky in the v6 section on v6 exhaust combo's and choices.

forget about the V6. I'm not buying anything for the V6. It's just gets me from point A to point B.

In future preference for the V8, what midpipes and exhaust headers are within great quality and in a decent price range?

Well you never said it wasnt for the v6. That being the case it doesnt matter what you go with its like picking a catback everyone has different opinions. Me I like Mac because its cheaper then alot of other companys, sounds good, and the quality is good. I would love to have SLP headers but they are too much $$ for me.
