Default Regarding Headlights.

I Have a 2006 Ford Mustang GT and i Recently purchased blackout covers for my headlights, the standard bulbs that where in there did no good at all, so i replaced them with bulbs that claimed they where 20-30% brighter.. i replaced the originals with them and they where alittle brighter but not bright enough, i could see the road but it was still dark... just went out and bought some Silverstar bulbs and replaced them, i will see tonight if they are bright enough.... but if not will the Luminics bulbs be any better and show any difference? i dont want to keep spending money on bulbs .

headlight blackout covers are not meant to be driven with. There for show purposes which is why they go on and come off easily. I suppose if you went HID's it might work but the bulb has to be very bright because it looks like those covers are limo tint.

+1. Don't plan on getting good lighting with them on, even with Hid's. If your Fogs arn't enough then you might have to take them off at night, even though thatd be a major pain in the ***.

If i were you, Id get the Hid kit for your fogs. And leave the covers on the headlights.
