SeanStang 04-15-2008 09:24 PM

Ive heard alot of good things about the Viper systems.

krazypony 04-16-2008 05:29 AM

Yeah I was looking yesterday on ebay at the Viper System and it was going for like $180. I am most def. getting one for my next vehicle I get. A guy here at work has one called a Code Alarm System.

I was gonna start a thread as of this until i saw this one, curious on whats the best and so fourth, alot of option out there and features to drive one crazy!

there is an alarm system on crutchfield called Crime guard 650 and the 750i. Anyone heard anything about those our just that brand in general.

Im debating between those and a Viper system at bestbuy installed for $310.

SeanStang 04-17-2008 03:41 PM

Never heard of the Crime guards.

SeanStang 04-17-2008 03:55 PM

Thats what i would go with. Every thing that I hear about them are good.

krazypony 04-18-2008 05:48 AM

I am new to all these, but from what I have read and ask around the Viper seems to be the best on the market

V6_Mustang_Power 04-18-2008 07:38 AM

dude...you're around here. Don't bother. That's the first thing they car thieves disable. Nobody in the bay area pays any attention to them. You might as well set the 1000 bucks on fire for all the good it'll do.

+1 when people hear an alarm go off no one even looks anymore to see whats going on. Most people just get annoyed and say "damn I wish that guy would turn his alarm off"

Steeda21 04-18-2008 11:53 PM

yeah good points there.

r3dn3ck 04-19-2008 07:46 AM

I have Lojack. It's about all you can really do aside from being careful where you park. If you're gunna pop a grand on an alarm... come and get that IRS instead.
