Question Gear installer in SE 'Bama?

Anyone located nearby me (Enterprise, AL) that knows of a reputable shop to install rear gears in my Mustang for a reasonable price? I called the local Ford dealer and they quoted me $500 with me providing the parts. Thanks in advance for the help.

well im in alabaster, alabama and theres a shop named SpeedSouth up the street from me not sure of the price it would cost to install them but they have done work to my car and plenty of work to my friends cars... the only other one that i know me and my friends use is modular powerhouse... those are the only 2 reputable shops around here besides a dealership... http://modularpowerhouse.com/
http://www.speedsouth.com/
hope this helped you...

no problem i meant to tell you that modular powerhouse is in GA but their really good... i like speedsouth because their more local... but they know what their doing... and i think that they may give you a reasonable price... make sure to call them to see when they can install it if you like their price... cuz when we bought my dads exhaust it was gonna be like a month b4 they could get it in the shop and installed...

yeah ok, i just shot both of them an email at their sites. I think I'll call them both up during business hours tomorrow. I really appreciate it. I gotta believe that there has to be something down here, like in Dothan, but damn if I can find one. If they are good, I don't mind the drive to have them do it. I had a $50 "in some guys backyard shop" gear swap done once and all my gears did was whine.

Thanks for helping me know I hadn't lost touch with reality. At first I was happy because I assumed that price was inclusive of parts...good thing I asked.

Called up Steve just now and he quoted me a very reasonable $250. He is pretty close by as well. Modular quoted me $370. Thanks again Randy.

I believe I did. The question now is whether that added to the price or not as a result.

Exclamation

Update in case anyone else near my location was monitoring this thread for help. I found a place here to install my gears... Job was done right, done quickly, and done at a very fair price. Had my 4.10's put in last Friday by Southern Performance in Enterprise, AL. Call Ron Smith and he'll take care of you. I got out the door for under $400 and that included all parts and labor.
