If you have a predator you can correct it. Ive seen install prices range usually from 2-300 bucks

The Motive gears only come with the ring and pinion so you have to but at least the installation kit, I think the Ford gears come with the basic kit so the prices are pretty close but you will need a speedcal...You could go to http://www.dallasmustang.com/index.mvc?p=973101 they got em for like 100 bucks...I'll be getting one in a week for my gears that I should have in like 3 weeks...damn biweekly checks.

An installation kit will have new bearings, crush sleeve and shims. I have always bought a installtion kit when swapping gears just to be safe. Also I use the Ford racing gears because they are easier to install due to the master housing dimension that they use.

Im going with 4.30s on my DOHC swap and most say this is the same as putting 4.10s on SOHC. Has anyone driven two stangs with these gears and know for sure?

i'm thinking the 4.30's cause of the higher revs

The cheapest way to do it is get a Dallas Mustang's Speed Calibrator. Its about $100 and you can change the gear ratio to and from whatever you want.

www.Brothersperformance.com has them for like 80 bucks but I haven't talked to anyone who has used them...I might cause I'm about an hour away from their warehouse. I hate waited for parts to arrive.
