-1 For Flowmaster.
well took my stang to the shop to get true duals at 9a.m. its still not done, it would have been done today IF flowmaster would of made the hangers on each side the same measurements. the right side was off like 2", so they have to fab it up and will be done tomorrow. but im not blaming the not being done today about the off measurement, their is only 1 guy working on the exhaust and yeah... but still flowmaster should measure twice.

i made an edit and yeah, i still agree with you. shop is just a small one, more like a custom shop. before i took it in there i told em i wanted TRUE duals(going straight back from each side) and after i dropped it off and got home. later they call and say they got the stock exhaust off and wanted to know where the Y-pipe was . i was like, their is no y pipe on trueduals... so today all they accomplished was. removing the stock exhaust, and putting on the left side of the new one.
are you kidding me? what kind of shop did you go to lol 2 days install all because they have to fab up an exhaust hanger!?!?! even with that problem should have taken like 2 hours max maybe 3 if they really don't know what there doing. I would say its not flowmaster's fault its the shops fault for being stupid

you should go over there first thing tomorrow and watch what there doing. if they don't know where a Y pipe is thats not the place to get your exhaust system done. It's almost hard to believe this is even an exhaust shop. Hopefully they at least made the cuts in the right place if they even took off the Y pipe

i don't know how much it would cost because my friend did mine while i helped but i would guess between 250-300. If you have no idea what your doing I would recommend you have someone do it unless you have to correct tools to prop up your car and cut off the stock exhaust since its welded.

my point was that its not a hard job...harder to do on yer own, but a shop with exhaust equipment should be able to handle that job in less then 5 hours...not more than 2 days. Its not hard to do, so a pro taking that long and not even understanding what true duals are...should not be touching your car.

ok, im pretty sure they know what their doing but their taking their sweet *** time. plus its one 50+ year old guy doing it all and he started doing it around 2pm and closed at 6pm. they are charging me $100, for making it true duals and fabing up pieces and giving me a few pieces to hang it. ohwell cant complain, its getting done right.

What parts did you take them to have install?..just the mufflers? Cause that could be the reason why their all confussed. Cause with just the mufflers thats a pretty decent amount of fab work. But on the other hand an experianced shop should not have a prob.

just the catback. attatched. their just taking em straight back, no midpipe...

OK...so thats why their moving so slow. You wanted "true duals" from your exhaust manifolds back? Well your cats or cat,I don't know how many you have and the wifes not here to look under her 02 sixxer, are located on your y pipe. And you didnt supply a new mid pipe for your install thats why they asked you where it was. I call them first thing in the morning. I know you can have an y adapter on the end of your y pipe to route the exhaust to 2 mufflers but thats not a "true dual" set up. You needed to supply something like this..http://www.americanmuscle.com/v6duexadkit1.html. understand any of that.. I'm not the best explainer. But I believe that product is just for a catback. You actually needed a h or x pipe.
